BMR Legal Advocates was pleased to support the ICC India Fireside Chat on ‘Latest Developments in Pillar Two and the Two-Pillar Solution’. The high-stakes event, in collaboration with International Chamber of Commerce Global Taxation Commission, witnessed a medley of doyens in international taxation grace the occasion. CFOs, Global Tax Heads, academicians, and practising lawyers tuned in from all corners of the world to hear our stellar line-up discuss, deliberate and debate.

The event was largely centered around global taxation issues, notably the Inclusive Framework, the need for common global policies, future tax priorities, and the role of Ai and emerging technology in shaping these efforts. Led by the dynamic Dr Achim Pross, Deputy Director at OECD – OCDE’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration, the role of OECD in matters surrounding the future of global tax policy was analysed.

Eminent speakers included Mr. Bhaskar Goswami, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Finance; Mr. Chetan Rao, Commissioner, Income Tax Department, Government of India; Mr. John Connors, Chair of the ICC Global Taxation Commission; Mr. Imran Khan, Executive Director, ICC India. The event was splendidly anchored and moderated by our Managing Partner, Mr. Mukesh Butani, Founder & Managing Partner of BMR Legal Advocates along with systemic inputs and interventions by our Partner, Ms. Seema Kejriwal Jariwala.
